Every value carries what it rests on, and the model weighs the four levels differently. Weight, then how many citations on this record sit at that level:

The weights are methodology.json’s own; a claim seen in the artefact itself counts for more than the same claim reported second-hand. The date at the end of a row is the day that value was last read.
A channel does not price every field it reads. The ones it did are marked along their edge and carry what they added; everything else was read and cost nothing. Only a channel that composes field by field can mark a field at all — the rest price themselves by the parameters printed above their rows.

Legal entity. Netcrawled LLC, named as operator in the Terms of Service and in every footer, was administratively dissolved by North Dakota on 2011-05-19 for failing to maintain a registered agent and has not been reinstated since; its registered agent of record is now the state itself, by default. The site still trades under that name in 2026. Nothing establishes who currently controls the service, receives its revenue, or would answer a legal order.
No audit despite a marketing claim. The affiliate-recruitment page asserts "Audited privacy" and "True No-Log VPN," but no audit is named, dated, scoped or linked anywhere on the site, privacy policy or support pages, and the phrase appears nowhere outside that recruitment copy. This is recorded as a declared, unsubstantiated claim (V01) rather than a finding of an actual engagement.

Fleet ownership and architecture. Nothing on the site states whether the 25-country, 28-location network is provider-owned, rented from datacenters, or run by contractors, so C00, C08, C03 and C06 stay unknown. The same applies to whether the native apps carry any analytics SDK beyond what the privacy policy's blanket denial covers.
No transparency reporting. No transparency report, warrant canary or legal-process guideline page exists on the site, so P08_requests_received, P09_data_provided and P04_mandate_response are unknown rather than sourced to a document that speaks to them directly, and there is no way to tell how the provider would behave the first time a real order arrives.
On the record as a whole.
BTGuard sells two products from one account: a SOCKS5 BitTorrent proxy ($6.95/mo) and a full VPN that includes the proxy ($9.95/mo, up to 20 simultaneous devices). The site states multi-month plans save up to 25% but never publishes the yearly total in static HTML; it sits behind the signup/checkout flow, which was not completed.
The browser extension's privacy section is the most detailed part of the policy and is where the app-scoped per-install device identifier is disclosed.
The affiliate program pays 100% of a customer's first month and 50% on every rebill for the account's lifetime, well above typical VPN affiliate terms, and the visible independent coverage of BTGuard is exclusively affiliate-review-site content.
